  John W. Weicker - Tavistock - A well-known North Easthope Township resident, John William Weicker, 81, died at K-W Hospital Wednesday. He was a native of East Zorra. Mr. Weicker was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Weicker and was born Aug. 29, 1876. Following his marriage to Catherine Zehr at Stratford April 5, 1905, the couple farmed on Concession 1, North Easthope. Mr. Weicker was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sebastopol. Mrs. Weicker died in February, 1956. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Valentine (Mable) Knechtel, Mrs. Nyal (Florence) Herman and Miss Hilda Weicker, all of North Easthope and one brother, Milton of Saskatoon. There are four grandchildren. A brother and three sisters predeceased him. The body is at the residence where a private service will be held at 2 pm Saturday. Removal will be made to Trinity Lutheran Church for a memorial service. Burial will be in the church cemetery, Rev. O.T.C. Stockmann will officiate. Unidentified Newspaper Obituary
