    • Walter E. Lankowski - Walter E. Lankowski, 48, of 6 Herlan Ave., died Thursday after a heart attack in a doctor's office. Born in Ottawa, he was a son of Michael Lankowski of Ottawa and the former Irene Warbowski, now of Kitchener. He had lived here since 1922 and worked at John A. Lang and Sons Ltd. for 27 years. He was a member of St. John's RC Church and was former treasurer of St. John's Parent Teacher Association. Surviving besides his parents are his wife, the former Margaret Lemanski, whom he married in Kitchener in 1936; two sons, Richard and Thomas; and one daughter, Yvonne, all at home; one brother, Joseph of Kitchener; one half-brother, William Krysko of Waterloo, and one half-sister, Mrs. Leonard (Mary) Hoch of Kitchener. The body is at the Gruhn funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 8 pm Sunday. Prayers at the funeral home at 8: 30 am, Monday, will be followed by requiem high mass at St. John's Church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Rev. W. F. Gleason will officiate.
