    • Mary Adline Witmer, "twin sister to Catherine, was born May 23rd, 1850. She resides in Galt and is married to Charles Connawarf, a wage-earner. They have four children, namely: Mabel, Olive, Eric, and Lee."

      Passed Away At Galt

      Word was received this week of the sudden death of Mary Adeline Witmer, widow of the late Chas. Connawarf, at her home. The deceased was born in Hespeler and was in her 79th year. She had been a resident of Galt for 39 years, and was a member of Trinity Anglican church. She is survived by ones son, Leigh, of London, England, and two daughters. Mrs. Angus Melver, Serch River, Man., and Mrs. J. M. Fraser, Galt. Two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Geary, Rensslaer, N.Y., and Miss Christie Witmer, of Hespeler, also survive. The funeral took place Thursday afternoon, interment being made in Hespeler cemetery.
