Notes - McCORMICK, Kathleen Passed away peacefully on Saturday January 16, 2010 at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 86 years. She will be deeply missed by her sisters, Adele Helm, Patricia George (Eugene), Joan McConnell and brothers, Ron McCormick (Joanne) and Pat McCormick (Kay). Predeceased by parents, Hattie and Albert McCormick, sisters, Eleanor Hahn, Audrey Hagen, Francis McCormick, and Mary McCormick (in infancy) and brothers, Edward and Will McCormick (Sophie). She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and friends. Kay was a longtime employee of Cluett and Peabody (Arrow). Following retirement, she volunteered countless hours at Meals on Wheels. Kay was an avid bowler and played in many leagues and tournaments. She was a resident of Luther Village. Family and friends are invited to share memories of Kay on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, 173 Lourdes Avenue, Waterloo on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 10: 30 a.m. with Fr. Edward Sheridan as Celebrant. Reception to follow in the parish hall. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Meals on Wheels would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
