  BOWMAN, Edna (Mrs. Peter M.) - Peacefully, on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004, at Listowel Memorial Hospital, Edna (Freeman) Bowman, in her 83rd year, of Elmira. Beloved wife of the late Peter M. Bowman (1994). Dear mother of Martha and Aden Gingrich of Mine Centre, Lorne and Elaine Bowman of Floradale, Ellen and Elmer Clifford of Elmira, Eva and Leonard Brubacher of RR 1, West Montrose, Esther and Edgar Martin of RR 3, Listowel, Willard and Verna Bowman of RR 2, Drayton, Lois and Richard Horst of RR 3, Listowel. Will be sadly missed by her 22 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Sister and sister-in-law of Seleda and Howard Martin, Adline Freeman, Lydia Freeman, Cleason and Irene Freeman, Emerson Freeman, Leonard and Susanna Freeman, Alice and Henry Martin. Predeceased by her parents, Addison and Selina (Bauman) Freeman; her step-mother, Lovina (Weber) Freeman; one son, Walter; one grandson, Dale Horst; three brothers (one of them in infancy). The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where a family service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, September 29, 2004, at 1 p.m. then to the Elmira Mennonite Meeting House for further public service and burial in the adjoining cemetery. In her memory, donations to Elmira and District Association for Community Living would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy. The Record Newspaper 27 Sep 2004
