  A SAD AND UNTIMELY DEATH, HERBERT J. SCHNEIDER, SECOND SON OF ALD. J. M. SCHNEIDER, PASSES AWAY THIS MORNING AT THE HOSPITAL AFTER TWO WEEKS' ILLNESS The many friends in Berlin and vicinity of Ald. J. M. and Mrs. Schneider, Benton street, will sympathize with them in the loss they have sustained by the sad and untimely death of their second son, Herbert John Schneider, which took place at the B. & W. Hospital at 9 o'clock this (Wednesday) morning. The deceased contracted typhoid fever two weeks ago, and a week ago on Sunday he was taken to the Hospital. Notwithstanding his strong constitution and the best medical care and careful nursing, he gradually grew worse until the Grim Reaper ended his sufferings. The deceased was almost 19 years of age, having been born on Oct. 20, 1886, and after obtaining a public school education he assisted his father in the meat business and became well known throughout the town. He was popular among his circle of companions, and was highly respected by all his acquaintances. He will be greatly missed in the home and his parents and family feel the loss very keenly. The funeral will take place on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the parents residence on Benton street, to the New Jerusalem church for service, thence to Mount Hope cemetery for interment DAILY TELEGRAPH Wednesday, October 11, 1905 P. 1
