  SCHNEIDER Ethel (Mrs. Norman) - On Friday, Sept. 23, 1988, at her residence, 290 Queen St. S. [Victoria Place], Kitchener, age 94 years. Mrs. Ethel Schneider, formerly of Riverbank Drive, Kitchener and in recent years a resident of Victoria Place, Kitchener. Widow of Norman C. Schneider, who predeceased her in 1985. Born in Cambridge, Galt, she was the daughter of William Henry Lapsley and the former Clara Joachimi. Predeceased by her son, Howard Schneider and one sister, Maud Schweitzer of Oakland, Calif. Surviving are one son, Herbert and his wife, Betty of Waterloo; daughter-in-law, Betty Lou (Mrs. Howard Schneider) of Kitchener and daughter, Brita Hazell of Ashland, Ore. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Schneider was well known and respected for her many years of community service, particularly the Canadian Red Cross, where she was an active member for 60 years. Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton St at Church St., after 4 p.m. today (Saturday) and will continue until complete funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Monday, Sept 26, at 3 p.m. Rev.
