  KRESS, Carl Frederick Of Kitchener, passed away, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, aged 91 years. In 1933, Carl married Delphine Totzke, who predeceased him on May 8, 1994. He is also predeceased by his brothers, Spurgeon, formerly of Kitchener and Julius, formerly of Toronto. Carl is survived by a son, Philip C. Kress and his wife, the former Lois Erdman of South Bend, Ind. and a daughter, Vivian M. Powers of Kitchener; as well as three grandchildren, Julie of Toronto, Emily of Kingston and John of Kitchener. Carl retired after more than 40 years of service at B.F. Goodrich and was a member of the B.F. Goodrich Foreman's Club. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held later in the spring in the chapel of the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home. The Record Newspaper 11 Jan 2000 pg B4
