  George C. West PRESTON - George Clifford West, 47, of 422 Duke St., died early Sunday, at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital. He had been ill since April. Mr. West came to Preston from Clinton in 1916. He was a dispatcher for the Grand River Railway, for 28 years. He attended St. Paul's United Church. He was a member of the Order of Railroad Telegraphers. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. John G. West, Preston; his wife, the former Rose Schill; daughters Georgia, Frances, Lois and Barbara, at home; a brother, Lorne West, Preston, and a sister, Mrs. Grant (Edna) Malcolm, Galt. The funeral will be conducted at the H. K. Stager Funeral Home, Tuesday, afternoon at 2: 30 p.m., with burial in Preston Cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 24 Sep 1956 pg 5
