As the result of a drowning accident at Courtcliffe Park, Flamboro, Wentworth County, Saturday, June 8, 1974, Douglas W. Kay of Beasley Rd., Route 2, Cambridge (Preston); beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. Garnet Kay; dear brother of Whitney and Barbara, in his 22nd year; also survived by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Whitney Kay of Bracebridge and Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Holinshead of Huntsville. Mr. Kay was employed with the Weber Concrete Products Ltd., Breslau and was a member of the Christ the King United Church, Kitchener. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queen St. Cambridge (Preston), for funeral service Friday, at 2 p.m. Rev. C. C. Plant officiating. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.
