WEILER, Frank

Passed away, peacefully, at his home, with family present on Monday, June 7, 1999, in his 74th year. Frank was a veteran of the second world war and had served in the Canadian Air Force. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and the Serra Club. Beloved husband of Bernice (nee Harisonoff) for 51 years. Loving father of Frank Jr. and his wife Marjorie of Kitchener and Stephen of London. Dear grandfather of Bonnie Weiler and Sherry Helgerman and her husband Jeff and great-grandpa of Jordan and Jesse Weiler and Kelsey Helgerman. Survived by his brothers, C.J. Weiler and his wife Jeanette of Oakville, Gerald Weiler and his wife Glennie of Toronto and Jerome Weller and his wife Evelyn of Hamilton and his sisters, Rita and her husband Lorne Brohman of Toronto and Leona and her husband Ed Sobiera of Ancaster; brother-in-law of Olga Leppek of Kitchener. Frank will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Frank Weiler and the former Eileen Wilfong. Relatives and friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Rome, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where parish prayers will be held at 4 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at St. John's RC Church. (For time of service please contact the funeral home). Cremation to follow.
