  WINTERHALT, August H. Of 525 Dolph St., Guelph, at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Thursday, August 28, in his 86th year; August H. Winterhalt. Mr. Winterhalt was born in Preston and lived there all his life. He was a mechanical engineer with the Foundation Company of Canada, for a great number of years and a member of St. Clement's Church. Son of the late George and Monica Winterhalt. Survived by his wife, the former Theresa McCaughan, whom he married 60 years ago in Manitoba and by three sons and two daughters, Marie (Mrs. Fred Legge) of California, Joyce (Mrs. Fred Junkers) of Ancaster, R. Gordon of Kitchener and Elmer and Patrick of Preston, Cambridge. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and one brother, Albert of Detroit and a sister, Mrs. Anna Paetz of Preston, Cambridge. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, corner Queenston Road and Argyle Street, Cambridge (Preston), until Saturday morning; then to St. Clements Church for funeral mass, at 9: 30 a.m. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.
