  IRONSIDE, Robert Sr. Of 168 Grand Ave. S., Cambridge, on Thursday Sept. 20, 1984, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 69th year. Beloved father of Robert Ironside Jr., of Toronto, Sue (Mrs. Don Galvin) of Cambridge and Mrs. Heather Bailey of Edmonton. Lovingly remembered by four grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Christina Clark of South Carolina. Mr. Ironside was born in Aberdeen, Scotland and moved to Cambridge three years ago from Quebec. He was a retired supervisor of American Biltrite Company of Sherbrook, Quebec; he was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas with the Canadian Army. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends, Friday 7-9 p.m., Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home, Sunday, Sept. 23, 1984 at 2 p.m. Interment Parklawn cemetery.
