After a lengthy illness, on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 1972, at Freeport Hospital, George J. Kreutzweiser, age 83, of 244 Royal St., Waterloo; retired foreman at L. McBrine Company Limited, Kitchener; member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church; 50 year member of the 100F; past Noble Grand of the Subordinate Lodge; past District Deputy of the Germania Lodge Number 184 and the Samaritan Encampment Number 49. Husband of Gertrude Hett and father of Robert of Kitchener, Jean of Waterloo; brother of Herbert and Charles and sister, Mrs. Nelson (Ada) Braun, all of Waterloo; Mrs. Austin (Clara) Martz of Kitchener; also survived by two grandchildren, John and Elaine Kruetzweiser; predeceased by one sister. Resting at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. South, Waterloo, where the IOOF will conduct a service Wednesday, at 8 p.m. Funeral services Thursday at 2 p.m., Rev. F. W. Zinck officiating. Interment Parkview cemetery, Waterolo, in the spring.
