      Age 62. of RR 1, P.O. Box 607, Semora, N.C., died October 6, 1989, of an accidental drowning, in Hyco Lake, near his home: He was a native of Elmira, Ont. Son of the late Aaron and Ada Martin: step-son of the late David C. Martin. He was a member of Long Memorial United Methodist Church and was a retired plant manager of the Collins and Allman Knit Plant. Surviving are his wife, Everleen Clayton Martin; two sons, Randy Martin of RR 1, Rougemont and Terry Martin of Winston-Salem: one step-son, Kenneth Long of Sanford; one step-daughter, Denise L. Hicks of Creedmoor; two brothers, Clayton Martin of Waterloo and Paul Martin of Elmira; three sisters, Alice Butcher, Carol Denstedt and Sharon Graham, all of Elmira, one step-grandchild; two step-sons, Lloyd Martin of Waterloo and Willard of Irwin, Pa.; four step-sisters, Vera Brubacher of RR 2, Elmira, Gladys Diefenbacher of RR 2, Drayton, Florence Metzger of Elmira and Marleny Kwandt of Renfrew. Predeceased by one sister. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday (today) at Stricklano Funeral Home Chapel, North Carolina, by the Rev. Ron McCracken.
