  SCHMIDT, Marie Victoria (nee Rau) After a brief illness, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Tuesday. April 11,1995, in her 85th year. Marie, beloved wife of the late Raymond Schmidt. Loving mother to Jack, James and his wife Verna, Mary Pat Fitzgerald, Helen and her husband John Heinrich, all of Kitchener. She will be dearly missed by her 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and her great-great-grandson. Predeceased by her parents, William and Helen Rau and her brother, Carl. Marie was a faithful member of St. Anne's RC Parish, the Catholic Women's League and the First Saturday Adoration Society. Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St., Kitchener will begin today (Wednesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and will continue on Thursday, April 13, until prayers at 10: 30 a.m, after which transfer will be made to St. Anne's RC Church for funeral mass at 11 a.m., with Father Bob Stainsby officiating.
