- Edward R. (Ted) Gambling
PRESTON—Edward R. (Ted) Gambling of Preston died Tuesday at Westminister Hospital, London, Ont. He was 61. Mr. Gambling was born in London, England, and had lived in Preston for 57 years. He was employed at Baulk Publishers Ltd. for a number of years. He was affiliated with the Anglican Church and was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas from 1939-45 with the 29th Field Battery of Guelph. He was predeceased by his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gambling and by one sister, Elizabeth. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Jack (Maudie) Murray of Preston, Mrs. Willard (Dorothy) Rohr and Mrs. Beattie (Ethel) Gibson, both of Kitchener: a niece and three nephews. The body is at Barthel-Stager Funeral Home where service will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Preston Park Lawn cemetery.
