- William Murcar
William John Murcar of 114 Queen St. W., Hespeler, died today at South Waterloo Hospital, Galt. He was 45. Mr. Murcar was born at Paisley, March 16, 1924, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Murcar. He lived at Hespeler for the past four years and worked for Golden Triangle Paving Ltd., Preston. He served overseas during the Second World War and was a member of Royal Canadian Legion branch 272, Hespeler. Surviving are his wife, the former Virginia McGinley; a son, William, at home; two daughters, Deborah and Grace, both at home; two brothers and three sisters. The body is at the Nelson Funeral Home, 23 Galt St., Hespeler, where service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m., Rev. Bren deVries of St. James Anglican Church will officiate. Burial will be in Hespeler cemetery.
