  MARSHALL, William A. Of 535 Pine St., Cambridge, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, Sept. 22, 1983, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Delia Metcalf; dear father of Donald of Cambridge, Barbara (Mrs. Matt Yuzek) of Toronto and Ruth (Mrs. Earl Gooding) of Cambridge; dear brother of Joseph of Wabashene, Ont., Mrs. Thelma Little of Bobcaygeon and Verna (Mrs. John Marney) of Toronto; lovingly remembered by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Marshall was predeceased by two children and two brothers. He was born in Toronto and resided in the Preston area since 1931. He was a butcher and the owner/opera-tor of Marshall's Meats until his retirement in 1971. A member of the IOOF, Cambridge Lodge, No. 188. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends, Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, Sept. 24 at 2 p.m. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.
