She was a member of First Baptist Church, Waterloo. Dear mother of Walter (Bill) Gottfried and his wife Margaret of RR 3, Waterloo, Allan Gottfried and his wife Audrey of Kitchener, Emerie Gottfried of Georgia, U.S.A., Douglas Gottfried and his wife Betty, Mervyn Gottfried and his wife Lorraine, all of Kitchener, Irene and her husband Calvin Weise of Mount Forest. Step-mother of Harvey Gottfried and his wife Meretta of Florida, Norval Gottfried and his wife Helen of Matheson, Ont., Mildred Hallman of Listowel, Stewart Thede of Shallow Lake. Also survived by many grand-children and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her first husband, Jacob S. Gottfried and her second husband, Walter Winkler; daughter-in-law. Marie Gottfried, four brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Winkler's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, today (Monday) 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m., Pastor Daniel Edmundson officiating.
