Beloved husband of Eleanor (Nellie) Adams; dear father of Jack of Peterborough, Robert of Cambridge, George of Victoria, B.C., William of Calgary, Lloyd of Edmonton; Eleanor (Mrs. Mel Mehrer) of Lethbridge, Alta., Laureen (Mrs. William Cardinell) of Cambridge; also survived by 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Whittaker was born in England and had been a resident of Cambridge for 60 years. Retired from the Canadian Office School and Furniture of Cambridge; a member of St. John's Anglican Church; veteran of the First World War; life member of the Preston Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 121. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge (P) until noon Monday, then to St. John's Anglican Church for funeral service at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
