  John Schut PRESTON, Jan. 28 - John Schut, Concession Rd., painting contractor, died suddenly at 11 o'clock last night of a heart attack. Mr. Schut had been ailing for two years but was active in his duties as usual yesterday. He was 61 years of age. Born in Velp, Holland, he came to Canada in 1911, directly to Preston. He had conducted his own business for 20 years. He was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife the former Judina Dieters, a son, John at home and two brothers, George of Speedsville and Garret of Preston. The funeral will be held Monday at 2 o'clock at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home. Interment will be made in Park Lawn Cemetery. The body is resting at the funeral home.
