  Louis Grohofsky PRESTON—Louis Grohofsky, 64, well-known Preston resident, died suddenly at his home, 326 Church St. South, of a heart attack at noon yesterday. Mr. Grohofsky suffered a heart seizure while at his employment and died five hours later. A woodworker by occupation he had been employed as a lathe operator at the Canadian Office and School Furniture Company for 10 years. Prior to that he had been employed with the Schmidt Furniture for six years. An enthusiastic lawn bowler he was also a member of the Preston crokinole club. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. He was born in Sullivan Township, near Williamford, Ont., Feb 24, 1889, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Grohofsky. Surviving are his wife, Ruby Curtis; two daughters, Mrs. Allen (Ethel) Verch of Kitchener and Mrs. Syd (Marion) Roberts of Galt. Five sisters, Mrs. William Henderson, Mrs. A. Reading and Mrs. C. MacDonald, all of Toronto, Mrs. J. Billings of London and Mrs. A. R. Merriam of Guelph. Three grandchildren also survive. A son, Gordon, predeceased him in 1936. The body is at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home, where the funeral will he held Thursday at 2 p.m. Rev. J. S. Dauphinee of St. Peter's Lutheran Church will officiate.
