      PRESTON, Robert R. Chard of 988 Concession Rd., died at his home, Tuesday. He was 30. Born in Galt, he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Chard. He worked for a number of years on the Galt Evening Reporter. He was a member of St. Clement's RC Church, a past president of the local Canadian Council of the Blind, vice-president of the Preston Jaycees and a member of the Canadian Institute for the Blind Bowling Club. Surviving besides his parents, are his wife, the former Cecile McLean; two sons, Scott and Bradley, both at home and one brother, Terry of Preston. The body is at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be recited tonight, at 9: 15. Removal will be made Thursday, to the church for service, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Preston Park Lawn cemetery.
