Of 100 Beck St., Cambridge, on Sunday, Jan. 12, 1992, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 58th year. Beloved husband of Joanne Cox; dear father of David and his wife Mary of Guelph, Debra and her husband Ken Harman of Cambridge, Terri of British Columbia. Also survived by 10 grandchildren; one brother, Jack (Red) and his wife Pat of Cambridge; one sister, Barbara (Mrs Ronald Pope) of Waterloo. Predeceased by his first wife, Helen Daub. Mr. France was born in Walkerville and came to Cambridge in 1937. Retired from United Shoe and Machinery in Cambridge; member of the Shoe Superintendent Foreman and Allied Trades. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 588 Queenston Rd, Cambridge, today (Tuesday), 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service at the funeral home, Wednesday, at 1.30 p m. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.
