    • MRS. WILLIAM H. JACOBI

      Mrs. William H. Jacobi, 83, of RR 3, Waterloo (near Erbsville)), died Saturday, Jan 31, in K-W Hospital after a brief illness.

      Born Jan. 11, 1876, in Woolwich Township, she was the former Elizabeth K. Stahlbaum, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Stahlbaum.

      She and her husband operated a farm near Erbsville, for the past 59 years.

      Mrs. Jacobi was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Heidelberg and of the Ladies Aid Society of that church. Her marriage to William H. Jacobi, took place Dec 6. 1899, in Elmira

      Surviving besides her husband are a son, Clarence, RR 3, Waterloo; a daughter Mrs. Almond (Nelda) Schneider of Waterloo; three brothers, George and William Stahlbaum of Elmira and Addison of Kitchener: a sister. Mrs. Katherine Mickus of Elmira, seven great-grandchildren.

      She was predeceased by a daughter, Viola, in October, 1939.

      The body rested at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until Tuesday, when removal will be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Heidelberg, for the funeral there. Burial was made in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Heidelberg. Rev. Paul Brouse, officiated.
