- WILLIAM A. ROLLING
William A. Rolling, Betzner Avenue, 64, passed away at the K-W Hospital last night following an illness of some weeks. Mr. Rolling was born at Newmarket and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Rolling, natives of England. For many years he was associated with the tobacco and cigar business in Kitchener. He was a former proprietor of the business now owned by George Hiller and was popular among a wide circle of acquaintances. He retired from business quite a number of years ago, but recently was a salesman. He was prominent and active in Masonic and Knights of Pythian circles. He was a charter member of Twin City Lodge A.F. and A.M. No. 509, of Kitchener Chapter R.A.M., No. 117 and Valette Perteptory K.T. No. 64; of Lodge of Perfection and of Rose Croix, both of Guelph and was of the 32: degree and Scotish Rite Consistory, Hamilton and Mocha Temple A.A.N.M.S. He was a member of Trinity Church. He is survived by his wife, and one daughter, Miss Dorothy Rolling. There also are five sisters, Mrs. Ed Morris, Guelph, Mrs. Mark Douglas, Toronto, Miss Alma Rolling, Toronto, Mrs. Hannah Hutchison, London and Mrs. Martha Snyder, Gloversville. N. Y. The funeral will be held at 2: 30 o'clock, Monday afternoon from the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home to the Preston Cemetery, Preston, for Interment with Rev. Clark Logan, pastor of Trinity United Church, in charge of the services whieh will be under Masonic auspices.
