    • FURTNEY, Kenneth

      Of 213 Hickory St., Cambridge, on Friday, April 3, 1992, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, in his 89th year. Dear brother of George and Walter, Mrs. Ivy Maile and Mrs. Robert (Jeanette) Schmiedendorf, all of Cambridge. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one brother, Allen and one sister, Margaret Inder. Mr. Furtney lived all his life in the Cambridge area, retired from Artex Mills in Cambridge, veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas in the Canadian Army. A family funeral service was held at the Barthel Funeral Home, 568 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Sunday, April 5, with cremation following.
