  BRODHAECKER, Ward Edward Passed away peacefully at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Sunday, August 5, 2007. Loving husband of Vivian Marie (nee Campbell). Devoted brother of Howard (Barbara) Brodhaecker. Sisters-in-law Jean (Bill) Deacon, Doris (Jim) Litwiller and Gren Campbell. Will be sadly missed by his 12 nieces, nephews, and their spouses and also many great-nieces and nephews. Ward retired from the Ministry of Transportation in 1963 after 18 years of service and then worked for Compact Sod for 10 years. He was a supporting member of the Knox Presbyterian Church in Preston for many years and an avid bowler who received many awards, his continuous jokes and sense of humour will greatly missed by all who knew him. Predeceased by his parents, Telford Edward Brodhaecker of Arthur and Susie Bell (Wanner) of Strausburg and brother-in-laws Harold, Delmer and Charles Campbell. Arrangements entrusted to the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd. Cambridge ON. (519) 653-3251. A private graveside service to follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation, or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
