Passed away, peacefully at Lee Manor Home for the Aged, Owen Sound, on April 26, 2007, at the age of 90 years. Loving father of Andrea Hodgkiss and her husband Bill Scott, and step-father of Carol Haase and her husband Bill. Proud grandfather of Cindy Hodgkiss and Shelley Peters and her husband Mark and Stephanie Haase and her husband Robert Baldwin and Ryan Haase and his wife Tracey. Sadly missed by his great-grandchildren Connor and Tyler Peters. Survived by his sisters Sarah Levac of Ottawa and Gussie Hagel of Vanscoy Saskatchewan. Predeceased by his parents Abraham and Justina (Harder); his first wife Marie Schneider; second wife Hilda Schott-Wagner; five brothers, five sisters and his step-son Richard Wagner. Andrew joined the 67th Division of the Highland Light Infantry, Galt, in 1945 and served overseas in continental Europe in the Second World War. He was also a long time dedicated employee of J.M. Schneider Inc. Kitchener for over 33 years. Friends are invited to share their memories of Andrew with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo on Sunday, April 29, 2007 from 2-4 p.m. Interment in Memory Gardens, Breslau.
