  LLOYD, Fred Of 712 North St., Cambridge, suddenly, on Thursday, Sept. 21, 1989, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Anna Elizabeth Flaherty (1978). Dear father of Robert of Vancouver, Betty (Mrs. Charles Beecheyl of Cambridge and Shirley (Mrs. Charles Reay) of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack and Harold, both of Cambridge and one sister, Dorothy of Cambridge. Predeceased by two brothers, Eric and Horace. Mr. Lloyd was born in England and came to Cambridge 75 years ago. He was a retiree of the Grand River Railway and a member of St. John's Anglican Church. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 588 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private family funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home, Monday Sept. 25, 1989, at 4 p.m. Interment Parklawn cemetery, Cambridge.
