  Edward Stahlbaum PLATTSVILLE, Edward John Stahlbaum of Perry's Corners, died Tuesday at his home following a long illness. He was 52. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Stahlbaum, he was born in Preston, June 20, 1916. He moved to Platteville in 1947 and was self-employed. He was affiliated with the Missionary Church at New Dundee. He was a member of the Hardy Bay Hunt Club and served in the Canadian Army in the Second World War. Surviving are his wife, the former Rose Gramarossa, whom he married in Toronto; a son, John, at home; two daughters, Mrs. John (Gail) Taylor of Edmonton and Mrs. Keith (Joan) Hall of Ayr; a brother Robert, of Port Elgin; two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Adeline) Rock of Toronto and Mrs. Fred (Margaret) Hepu of Fall River, Mass. and three grandchildren. The body will be at the Glendinning Funeral Home, Plattsville, Thursday afternoon and evening.
