  Bauer, Clinton Sr. It is with great sadness that the family of Clinton Bauer Sr. announces his passing on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at his home in Bayfield in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (1998). Loving dad to Cindy, Tim, Rick (Rhoda) all of Bayfield, Clinton Jr. (Lyn), Darrell (Barb) all of Listowel, Dennis of Ripley, Brenda of Waterloo, and Bev (Joe) of Erbsville. Proud and loving Poppa to 23 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. He loved life, his family and friends, and was always grateful for what he had. Clint retired at 67 from Petro Canada where he worked for many years. Last surviving member of his family having been predeceased by his parents Henry and Ida Bauer, along with his ten siblings. Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62, Arthur St. S., Elmira. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the Dreisinger Funeral Home followed by interment in Glen Allan Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed and can be accessed on Clint's tribute page of the funeral home website.
