Of 1009 Queenston Road, Cambridge, on Monday, 20, 1994, at his residence, in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Jean Donaldson and dear father of Kevin and his wife Mary and Daniel, both of Cambridge and Brian of Kitchener, Mary Ellen Yeardley, Eileen and her husband Robert Jewell, both of Cambridge, Frances Welsh of Kitchener and Maureen Murphy of Toronto. Also survived by 1 sister, Eileen and her husband John Seifred of Guelph. Lovingly remembered by 15 grandchildren. Predeceased by his mother and father, Florence and Arthur Murphy, also 1 son William and 1 daughter Nancy, 6 brothers, Melvin, Clarence, Clifford, Norman, Leonard and The Most Reverend Bernard Murphy and 1 sister, Rita O'Neill. Mr. Murphy was born in Preston and was a lifelong resident of Cambridge. He was a retired Assistant Post Master of the Preston, Post Office. He was also a member of St. Clements R.C. Church, a Veteran of W.W. 2 and a member of the Preston Royal Canadian Legion Branch #126. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, on Tuesday (today), from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 22, 1994, at St. Clements R.C. Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge, at 10: 00 a.m., with Father L. P. Cullaton officiating. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery.
