      PRESTON—Preston resident for 25 years, John Wagner, 1331 Queen St., died at Westminster Hospital, London, early yesterday at the age of 72. Mr. Wagner had been ailing for six months, confined to hospital for a month and critically ill for three days. Born near Milverton in Perth County, Nov. 2, 1880, he resided there until coming to Preston in 1928. A laborer, he was employed with Otto Homuth's and Graham Metal Products until he retired in 1949. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. He was married Sept. 27, 1905, in Listowel, to Martha Krajaefski, who survives with five daughters, Mrs. Alberta England of Toronto; Mrs. Thomas Stuart of Elmira; Mrs. Frank Wildfong of Hespeler; Mrs. Robert Grumble of Preston and Mrs. Kenneth O'Connor of Hamilton; two sons, Gordon Wagner of Acton and Lloyd Wagner of Preston, 27 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Four children predeceased him. The body is at the Stager Pass-Funeral Home, where the funeral will be held Saturday, at 3: 30 with Rev. C. S. Roberts of Hespeler officiating, Interment will he in the Park Lawn cemetery, Preston.
