Formerly of Moore Street, Cambridge, at Freeport Hospital Health Care Village, on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1992, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Ella C. Hart; dear father of Ross and his wife Sarah of Thunder Bay, David and his wife Janice of Mount Forest; dear grandfather of five grandchildren. Also survived by two brothers, Stanley Mador of Woodstock and Michael Madorozny of New Jersey, U.S.A. and one sister, Jennie (Mrs. Graham Robinson) of New Jersey, U.S.A. Mr. Benn was born and lived all his life in Cambridge (Preston). Retired from the Preston Metal and Roofing; a member of St. Clement's RC Church; veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas with the RAF and the RCAF. Member of the Preston Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 126. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Barthel Funeral Home, Saturday, at 10 a.m. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery.

AC. ANTHONY BENN
Aircraftman Benn, husband of Mrs. A. Benn, 1031 King street, Preston, enlisted with the R. C. A. F. on November 1, 1940. AC. Benn enlisted as an airframe mechanic and at the present time is stationed at Brantford. Born in Preston, he attended St. Clement's R. C. school, Preston, and the Galt Collegiate. Prior to enlisting he was employed at the Eastern Steel Products. AC. Benn was active in many local sports. A brother, Joseph, is also serving in the present war. His religion is Roman Catholic. He was a member of the H.L.L. of C. (RF).
