  SHOEMAKER, Clarence Of 1179 Hamilton St., Cambridge, on Thursday, May 12, 1988, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Ruby Wallis and dear father of Donald and his wife Donna of Kitchener. Also survived by two grandchildren, Douglas and his wife Nicole and Steven; two great-grandchildren and five sisters, Mrs. Margaret Coughlin, Mrs. Alberta Johnson, Mrs. Molly Shumacher, Clara (Mrs. James McDonald) and Mrs. Marie Walter, all of Cambridge. Mr. Shoemaker was born in Formosa, Ont. and was a resident of Cambridge for 75 years, retired from Savage Shoes Limited. Friends will be received at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Thursday), 7-9 p.m. and Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Clement's Church, Duke Street, Cambridge, Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.
