  Charles King PRESTON - Charles Peter King, 54. of 800 Richmond St., Doon, died Friday in Westminster Hospital. London, Ont. Born in Liverpool, England, Mr. King came to Canada 40 years ago. He lived in the Niagara Peninsula for 12 years, in Hespeler for two years, Preston 16 years, and the last 10 years in Doon. He retired from St. Mary's Wood Specialties Ltd., Hespeler, five years ago. A veteran of the Second World War, he served in Italy with the Perth Regiment of Stratford. He was a former member of the Hespeler legion and of King Street Baptist Church, Preston. He is survived by his wife, the former Hazel Alberta Morrison; two sons, David LeRoy of Dartsmouth, N.S., and Peter Wayne at home; three daughters, Sharen Lee, Catherine May and Patricia Jean, all at home; one sister, Mrs. Joseph (Nellie) Morrison in England and seven grandchildren. A service will be conducted at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, at 2 p.m. Monday, by Rev. J. M. Ward of Delta Park Baptist Church, Galt. The body will be at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Today, until the time of the service. Burial will be in Park Lawn cemetery, Preston. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 13 Aug 1966 pg 21
