  William Leithead PRESTON, Feb. 9—Well-known Preston resident for the past 40 years, William Leithead died at his home, Saturday afternoon, at 2: 45 following an illness of four days, at the age of 75 years. Born in Howick, Scotland, Mr. Leithead resided there until coming to Canada in 1907, living in Preston since that time. Learning the trade of a cloth designer in Scotland, he was employed in that capacity with Pattinson Woollen Mill, since that time. He was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Elder; a daughter, Mrs. W. F. (May) Mickus, at home and a son, James, of Collingwood. Two grandchildren in Collingwood and a sister in Scotland, also survive. The body is resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home, where the funeral will be held Thesday, at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Preston.
