  Mrs. Margaret Leithead PRESTON - A resident of Preston for the past 47 years, Mrs. Margaret Brisbane Leithead. 79, died early today at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, following a prolonged illness. A resident at 217 Hexam St., with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Mickus, she had been in hospital for the past week. Born in Hawick, Scotland, Mrs. Leithead came to Preston in 1907 and resided here ever since. She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Preston. Her husband the late William Leithead, predeceased her in 1948. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. W. F. Mickus (May) of Preston; one son, James, of CollIngwood; two sisters. Mrs. John Armstrong of Barrie, Mrs, James Kennedy of Scotland and two grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Thursday, at 2 p.m. from the Stager-Pass Ltd. Funeral Home, Preston.
