Of the Eventide Home, Kitchener, at Freeport Hospital, Sunday, Oct. 8, 1978, in his 86th year, James George Anderson.
Beloved husband of the late Margaret Jane Lunn; dear father of Bruce Anderson of Barrie, Jean (Mrs. Alan L. Smith) of Ancaster, Margaret (Mrs. W. Robert Thomson) of Kitchener and Helen (Mrs. Alex Pratt) of Kitchener; also survived by one brother, Fred, of Islington; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Anderson was born in Ireland and had been a resident of Kitchener and Cambridge for a number of years. He was a retired supervisor of Bell Canada, where he had been employed for 51 years. He was affiliated with St. Paul's United Church and Preston Masonic Lodge. A veteran of the First World War Canadian Army and a veteran of the Second World War Royal Canadian Air Force.
Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge (P), for funeral service Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment in Park Lawn cemetery.
