  HILKER, Kathleen Formerly of 1243 Whitley St., Cambridge, on Thursday, April 9, 1987, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Kathleen Schmidt, in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Clarence (Major) Hilker (19731: dear mother of June (Mrs. Robert Smith) of Brantford, Grace (Mrs. William Stockall), Joan (Mrs. Grant Strome) and Barbara (Mrs. Gilbert Gennoe), all of Cambridge and one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Yvonne Hilker of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold in England and two sisters, Leota (Mrs. Charles Wilson) and Mrs. Alice Deemert, both of Cambridge. Mrs. Hilker was predeceased by one son, Gerald. December 31, 1986 and three brothers. She was born in Carrick township near Mildmay and lived in the Cambridge area all her life. She was a member of St. Clement's RC Church and the Catholic Women's League. The family will receive friends at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Friday), 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday.
