Of 104 Eby St., Cambridge (P), on Saturday, April 8, 1978, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Thomas Collison in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Kathleen MacDonald; dear father of James Douglas and William of Cambridge, Patrick of Des Moines, Iowa, Joan (Mrs. Paul Howell) of Des Moines, Iowa, Mary Francis (Mrs. Reg. Brown) of Holyrood, Ont., Helen (Mrs. Robert Fischer) of Baden, Monica (Mrs. Robert Atkinson) of Kitchener; brother of Patrick of Walkerton, William of Teeswater and Mary (Mrs. Harry Oberle) of Paisley. Also survived by 12 grandchildren. Mr. Collison was predeceased by his first wife, Vera Oberle, in 1939; one brother Thead of Culross Township, in 1947 and three sisters, Catherine (Mrs. William O'Neil) of Culross Township, in 1966, Gertrude (Mrs. P. A. Murray) of Holyrood, in 1977 and Margaret (Mrs. Joe Weiler) of Cambridge (P), in 1977. Mr. Collison was born in Riversdale, Bruce County and came to Preston in 1940, from Teeswater. He was employed as a carpenter at the Grand River Railway, until his retirement in 1968. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge (P), until Tuesday, April 11, then to St. Clements Church for funeral mass, at 12 noon. Interment in Park Lawn cemetery.
