- Wilfred L. Atkins
PRESTON, Wil fred L. Atkins, 618 Queen St. died Monday at South Waterloo Hospital. He was 68. Born at Yarmouth, N.S., he came to Preston in 1956. He was caretaker at local municipal buildings for 11 years until retiring. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He was predeceased by one brother. Surviving are his wife, the former Ann Muise; three sons, Leonard of Kitchener, Victor and Paul, both of Preston; three daughters, Mrs. Paul (Catherine) Lamm of Georgetown; Mrs. Lewis (Marian) Fitzgerald and Mrs. Gilbert (Ruth) Durnford, both of Preston; one brother, Lockwood in Nova Scotia; one sister, Mrs. Vida Muise in Massachusetts and 10 grandchildren. The body is at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home where a service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Preston Park Lawn cemetery.
