      Of 339 Bishop St., (Preston) Cambridge, at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Thursday, Dec.. 5, 1974, Rev, Thomas G. Lewis, beloved husband of the late Evelyn Nicholls; dear father of Mrs. Evelyn Green of Portland, Ore., in his 77th year. Rev. Lewis was born in Wales and had resided in Forest, Paris and Woodstock, before moving to Preston. Rev. Lewis was ordained as a priest in New St. Paul's Anglican Church, Woodstock, serving first in St. John's Anglican Church, Preston and was rector and founder of St. Luke's Anglican Church, Preston, also served as a rector, in Trinity Church, Listowel, St. Paul's Anglican Church, Palmerston and Christ Church in Wheatley. In his retirement, served as honorary assistant of St. Luke's Anglican Church, Preston. Rev. Lewis was a veteran of the First World War, serving overseas and a member of the Preston Royal Canadian Legion. Rev. Lewis is survived by two brothers, Joseph and Andrew of Woodstock; two sisters Margaret (Mrs. Austin Zapp) of Woodstock and Lizzie (Mrs. Arthur Johnson) of Lakeview. Ont. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, corner Queen and Argyle Sts., (Preston) Cambridge, until Saturday noon, then to St. Luke's Anglican Church, Bishop Street, for funeral service, at 2 p.m. Interment in Park Lawn cemetery.
