  PUDD1COMBE, Robert John Of Laurel Street, Cambridge, on Thursday, Nov. 19, 1998, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Shirley Clawsey; loving son of Annie McDougall Puddicombe of Stratford and the late Robert Henry Puddicombe. Survived by two brothers, Bill and his wife Joyce of Willowdale, Doug and his wife Gail of Woodstock; nieces and nephews, Sharon and Joe Read, Patricia and Brian Read, all of Richmond Hill, Sarah Puddicombe and John Rowe of Stratford and Richard and Corinne Puddicombe of Ottawa. Mr. Puddicombe was born in Stratford and lived most of his life in Stratford and Cambridge. He worked with his father, Bob Puddicombe in the family business until 1962 when he was employed by CN Railroad for 20 years. He then moved to Cambridge where he opened Luxury Limousine Service until his retirement. He was a member of the Preston/Hespeler Probus Club, Tecumseh Lodge No. 144 AF & AM and a past member of the Cambridge Rotary. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Saturday) from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Nov. 23, 1998, at 1 p.m., with Canon David Bowyer officiating.
