  BEITZ, Phyllis Passed away unexpectedly, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, February 19, 2012, at age 87 years. Predeceased by her loving husband, Kenneth Matthew Beitz (1998). Beloved mother and best friend of Bonnie Rothon and her husband Bill. Dearest and loving grandmother of Christopher (Brenda) and great-grandmother of Matthew and Nicholas. Sister-in-law of Margaret Zeller and Thelma Goodchild. Also predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and Percy Goodchild, four brothers and three sisters. Phyllis loved to garden and take special care of her summer flowers. The importance of family and taking care of them was very much a big part of her life. She was a longtime resident of Cambridge and also St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge (Preston), Ontario (519-653-3251) on Thursday, February 23, 2012, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge, Ontario, N3H 3T7 on Friday, February 24, 2012, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery.
