- BRENNER, Philip Joseph
As the result of a car accident, in Lumby, B.C., on Saturday, Nov. 24, 1990, in his 30th year. He is survived by two children, Christine (4) and Jason (3) in Richmond, B.C. Also survived by his parents, Alex and Edith of Cambridge; three brothers, Vincent of Cobbie Hill, B.C., Gerald and Joseph of Cambridge; two sisters, Joanne and Karen (Mrs. Frank Joseph) and his grandmother, Yvonne Brenner, all of Cambridge. Also lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles and cousins in the Cambridge and Kitchener area. Phil attended St. Michael's school and St. Benedict's high school. He was active in the 1970s in local sports: softball and hockey. He had lived in British Columbia the last 10 years. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St Clement's RC Church, Duke Street, Cambridge, Thursday, at 10 a.m. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.
