      On Sunday, January 26, 1997, at his residence on Sherring Street, Cambridge in his 79th year. Beloved husband of the late Stella Sowa (1996), dear father of Rick Obergan, Norma Hastings and her children Joanne, Scott and Brenda and Chris and her husband Rick Luckhart of Nepean and their daughter Kelsey. Lovingly remembered by two brothers, Michael (Avril) Obergan of Cambridge and Walter (Lucy) Obergan of England and two sisters, Anna (Zbyszek) Dryngewicz of Cambridge and Brenda (Mathew) Farbotko of Stoney Creek. Predeceased by his parents and three sisters, Vera, Nina and Mary. Mr. Obergan was born in Poland and came to Cambridge, in 1946. He was employed for many years at Canadian Office and School Furniture, retiring 12 years ago, a member of St. Clements R.C. Parish and the Polish Legion #412, Kitchener. A Master Violin Maker. Friends will be received at THE BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, on Tuesday (today), from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's R.C. Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge, on Wednesday, January 29, 1997, at 10: 00 a.m. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery.
