      Of Golden Years Nursing Home, Cambridge, on Friday, September 15, 2006, at his residence, in his 87th year. Lin is survived by Shirley Howlett (wife of his late nephew. Edward Howlett). great-nephew, Steve Howlet (Cathy), great-niece Jenny Ilocksma, great-great nephew, Ryan Hocksma and great-great-nieces, Danielle and Christy Howlett. Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Mary Dopp, one brother, George and his wife Bertha and three sisters; Margaret Dopp, Lillian Parks and her husband Bill and Edna Howlett and her husband Art. Mr. Dopp was born in Preston and had been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a 19 year Veteran of the R.C.A.F., serving overseas with the Peace Corp in Egypt (1956-1957). He was employed at Savage Shoe until his retirement in 1984 and a member of St. Clement's R.C. Church. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday morning, at 10 o'clock. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
